Weathered is inspired by Chinese bronzeware. Besides the forms and ancient decorative details, I equally like the rusts and the breaks in these artifacts.
Instead of recreating a bronzeware in wood, I am trying to find a way, may it be the material or the technique, to express the beauty and imperfect quality.
